Orthodontic Faculty Development Fellowship Awards (OFDFA)
Postdoctoral Fellowship Award (PFA)
Biomedical Research Awards (BRA)
Center Awards (CA)
Research Aid Awards (RA)
Jarabak Award Annually, the AAOF BOD selects the recipient(s) of the Jarabak Award from nominations received from AAO Constituent Societies. Nominations are requested no later than February 1 of the year preceding the year, i.e., nominations for the 2013 Jarabak Award are to be received by the AAOF by February 1, 2012. In years divisible by three (e.g., 2010) the Jarabak Award is given to citizens of countries other than the United States or Canada. Click Here for Jarabak Award criteria. Salzmann Lecture Annually the AAOF Board determines the Salzmann Lecturer from the nomination(s) received by the individual who will serve as AAO President for that year's AAO Annual Session. AAOF Blair Award The Eugene and Pauline Blair, American Association of Orthodontists Foundation, Distinguished Service Award will be presented on periodic, not necessarily annual basis, to a person, group of persons or an organization who, in the judgment of the members of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation, has/have made exceptional contributions to the furtherance of the mission and goals of the Foundation. Nominations may be made by any current or former member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. Click Here for a listing of the recipients.
Planning and Awards Review Committee (PARC) While keeping the ultimate fiduciary responsibility of the Awards Program, the Foundation Board has delegated to the Planning and Awards Review Committee (PARC) the responsibility of reviewing the various applications and recommending which are to be funded, as well as making recommendations about any alterations in the Foundation's Awards Program.
